The short answer
The Monarch Standard
Six Wheels, One Commission
The 6x6 is the rarest and most commanding configuration in the Defender world. Its extended six-wheeled platform turns the classic silhouette into something few builders attempt and almost no one sees twice.
Monarch builds the 6x6 the same way as every other commission: from the ground up, on a new chassis, with GM LS3 or LT1 V8 power and a hand-finished bespoke interior specified entirely by you.

Technical Highlights
Meticulously engineered and hand-assembled at our facility, every component is selected for its uncompromising quality and performance.

Extended Platform
A lengthened, six-wheeled body with the most presence and cargo capability in the range.

Modern V8 Power
GM LS3 or LT1 V8 with a drivetrain upgraded for the larger vehicle.

Fully Bespoke
Every 6x6 is a one-off. Exterior, interior, and equipment are specified during the design phase.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a Defender 6x6 cost?
Every Monarch is priced by specification. Complete builds range from $250,000 to $350,000 and up, and a 6x6 is quoted individually once the specification is defined with our design team.
Is the 6x6 street legal in the USA?
Yes. Like every Monarch build, the 6x6 is built and titled in the United States, which simplifies registration and service compared with an imported vehicle.
How long does a 6x6 build take?
The 6x6 follows the same 12-stage ground-up process as every Monarch commission. Timelines depend on specification; plan for the upper end of our typical 6 to 12 month build window.
