Striking a flawless balance between Italian supercar attitude and rugged British utility, the Ascot arrives finished in the breathtaking Ferrari 592 Azzurro. This builds reimagines the iconic Defender 110 Soft Top as an elite, open-air cruiser engineered to dominate both coastal highways and remote trails with equal sophistication.
At its core, this frame-off restoration swaps utilitarian roots for pure American muscle. It is propelled by a formidable 6.2L V8 GM LT1 engine churning out 460 HP. The truck’s athletic stance is anchored by an 18-inch wheel package wrapped in aggressive rubber, controlled by a 2-inch lifted Fox suspension kit and heavy-duty Ford 9-inch axles. What sets the Ascot apart is its appetite for luxury exploration—outfitted with a rugged stainless steel hoop set and a integrated custom tent, it is fully optimized for premium, off-grid overlanding.
The interior is an exercise in nautical-grade luxury. Deep, hand-stitched Italian Nappa leather spans the cabin, beautifully contrasted by premium Teak Wood flooring running the length of the open bed. Machined billet accent kits sharpen the hardware inside and out, while robust stainless steel front and rear bumpers frame the exterior with brilliant, durable contrast.
Modern performance is matched by a completely modernized cockpit. A crisp 11" Alpine Multimedia System with Apple CarPlay anchors the dash, delivering sound through a premium acoustic system, while Dakota Digital gauges monitor the V8's vitals. Coupled with a high-output Vintage Air A/C system and heavy sound deadening, the cabin remains incredibly civilized, no matter the climate.
The Ascot isn't just a classic restomod; it’s an open-top passport to unbound exploration. Purpose-built and visually arresting, it represents the absolute pinnacle of custom overland luxury.
