Different vehicles, not just different powertrains
The comparison is less direct than it looks: Everrati's classic Land Rover offering is the Series IIA, the round-headlight forebear of the Defender, converted to a 215 bhp electric drivetrain with a 55 kWh battery and up to 150 miles of range. The engineering is genuinely OEM-grade and fully reversible, and the company's press credibility is earned.
Monarch builds the Defender itself, as a new vehicle: brand-new aluminum body, new chassis, and a GM V8 at 430, 460, or 650 hp. No donor to source, no range calculus, and torque measured in Chevrolet numbers.
The donor, the wait, and the ocean
An Everrati commission starts with you supplying a straight, rust-free donor on top of the price, and runs 12 to 18 months in the UK before import. A Monarch includes its own donor sourcing, builds in 6 to 12 months in Illinois, and is supported by the team that built it. Everrati's warranty runs 12 months; Monarch's is two years bumper-to-bumper plus GM's factory coverage on the crate engine.
Where Everrati is the better fit
If you specifically want an electric classic Land Rover, engineered properly and reversibly, Everrati is the credible choice; nothing Monarch builds is electric. If you want the classic shape with range, noise, and simplicity, and specifically the Defender rather than a Series truck, Monarch's V8 commission is the direct answer.
